For several months, people have brought up Roosh V. and his turn toward faith. I don’t remember anyone writing an article about this, so I figured I would do so now.
For those who don’t know, Roosh V. is one of the godfathers of “game,” and he has the distinction of encouraging the cad known as Roissy to start a blog of his own. Last spring, Roosh V. unpublished such classics as Bang Poland before announcing that he was not going to allow any more ribald discussion on his forum…
Assuming that he’s being honest about his motivations, rather than cynically self-censoring to avoid the SJW mob, I can’t criticize him.
While I wish him well in his new lifestyle, there are a few things to point out. The first is that what Roosh is doing is by no means unprecedented.
A great many men eventually realize the emptiness embodied in a hedonistic lifestyle. Rather than dial back the pleasure-seeking, they often implode into marriage or male-feminism.
Basing one’s life and lifestyle around screwing lots of women is to make a film, with a finite budget, filled with glossy shots and wild effects which never work, because they are compositionally forced. There is no substance to such an existence.
The pattern seems to follow a predictable course, and at some point, the “game” guru looks about himself to realize he sits in a castle in the sky, which only he can see. Thus, the moment came when Roosh realized that all his real-world achievements were limited to a dozen poorly written pornographic books, which only attracted fat autists on the internet. The only thing left to do, at such an inflection point, is abandonment of the delusion.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to be strong enough to ghost out and have fun with his life. He’s addicted to the dopamine rush of internet fame. Thus he is busy reinventing himself as some sort of matchmaker.
And there we have the end of the cycle.
I think Roosh, and “game” gurus in general, operate under the misconception that we MGTOW brothers don’t have the skills to compete with them. This is a mistake. I just fucked a decent looking skank this morning. I could fuck another one within 48 hours, if I wanted to. Roosh and the “game” promoters haven’t got any secret, occult knowledge that is missing from our lives.
The differences between us are subtle, but they do exist. MGTOW use a different (though related) epistemic cycle to interpret the world. Around here, we don’t feel obligated to a society which stacks the deck so brutally against us, and even if we can Bang Nicaragua, we generally don’t. Life is short, and sex is an important but minor part of it.
Th Wimminz claim they want to be
equal withmen.Which is hard to believe. Because they wouldn’t want to be a man for a second with all the advantages they have accrued for themselves.
What I hear (when they say that they want to equal with men) is they want to subject us to slavery and lord over us. Which is what we have now with or without marriage.
I’m not a slave (to this world or wimminz) .. and would rather be dead than provide them with anymore than they steal from me already.
If and when MGTOW (now that it has a name) actually hurts th wimminz soft landing into marriage and or retreat from working full-time .. then you will see the screws get turned even more. We see some of it with the censorship (impossed or willingly self-impossed) upon men leaders in the “manosphere” now.
Our culture and society hasn’t earned my sacrifice (to its greater good) .. so thusly .. they will not get it.
Roosh will be hailed and welcomed into the christian man-o-sphere as a hero. I was just watching a podcast over the weekend with Rollo…he evidently is a “christian” now (small letter “c” christian) and he has exactly the answers of what real christian red-pilled men need to do, and his opinions will hold “equal” weight with the best of them.
Roosh with little knowledge about the faith, or practice will now be an “equal” with the big shots because he may not know a lot about the faith still, but he fucked tons of women…….and that shows the “power of jesus” of how an evil sinner like him can be brought back into the fold (when he was an ‘evil sinner’ they still loved him and all of what he stood for btw). Christianity will be used a cloak to shore up his new image, he’ll fit right in with the holier than thou crowd that clogs the man-o-sphere already.
Both these situations here are just more proof that the christian red-pilled men worship “sex” and “women” and “attention from women” over their jesus….but the rest of us men are chumps, simps, cuckervatives and losers…….
Hence why their movement has little of no appeal to most men…….
If Roosh is indeed a new man. Good. The faith does have a good platform for a man to gain new footing. A place to find a sense of values and grounding. If he indeed has changed. I guess I cannot knock that.
The “dating guru” I met David DeAngelo and spent a week with back in 2000 “suddenly got married” as well back in 2010 or 2011. She’s pretty, and probably a good wife. Though not the “hot nines and tens” he banged every night (lol) when he was my dating coach. He renounced the whole game / pua thing as well.

Maybe we should bang our own lives? Re-starting the communities that we live in. “Loving” who we screw? Screw with purpose? I make these arguments and I still get hit from the LARP’ers.
During the period of my life before drug addiction took over and probably after when I had accepted women based value on things I didn’t have…….there was……..an halcylon or interesting period of “24 hour party people” that got rolling sometime in 1997 and came down to zero applause in 2003…..and draugged in ugly addiction for a few more years as I swirled down a filthy drain.
It was working during the day, coming home…..cleaning up, going out…..crashing into bed, waking a few hours later and doing the same thing. Weekends were a blot-out starting Friday after work and waking up at 5am Monday morning and going back to work.
Of course this couldn’t be sustained.
I have few memories. Neon lights reflecting on wet San Francisco pavement. Taxi cabs packed full and going to some other bar, art gallery, house party…….ties askew, shades on and full of marijuana smoke. Always. ALWAYS waking up and spending all the morning (and sometimes into early afternoon thinking angrily and frustrated) “how the fuck did I get home????” Waking up in some strange house, apartment or loft to the angry stares of a woman / women who were cleaning up from the previous night party of “LEAVE NOW”
I have no comparison to what Roosh went through concerning women……but I can say, he just didn’t “bang” and move on. Many of these “hot nines and tens” I am sure caused many a headache for him over the years……..
Like cocaine, it feels great…..but the drop and fry a few days later always burns bad…..I am sure in this aspect, the women were no different.
Life is short, and sex is an important but minor part of it.
I think the people in the game community would think that sex is a minor but important part of life. If you read it carefully that sentence a different than what you wrote. The order of words matter.
Sex is insignificant at this point……even if I did meet women, learned ‘game’ and dated….and then trying to find marriage….it would take me 50 thousand years to get sex right or “learn” and “do” properly and I would need viagra by that point anyway…..or my doctor would tell me not to because of my older age…….and I am not fathering children at my age…..and I am not going to meet some 23 year old “who just finds me so attractive and hot and wants my baby”
Men base their value overall on how many women like them, how much sex was had, and who thought they were it. People can say I am jealous, and there was a time I indeed was. It peeks out now and then…..and the times I wake up in the middle of the night and just wonder “what if?” but those times are becoming fewer and fewer. Life really has no meaning, and the best you can do is just stay out of trouble stay active the to the best of your ability and be prepared for when these masses will turn on you. In the meantime everything is great ..
So perhaps the hedonist grows tired (or it is ‘banged’ out) of trying to get one part of the dopamine receptors working he has to try something else.
Problem is that’s just as superficial as trying to fornicate with strange women. Basically they just turned their life into trying to be a youtube star.

I just finished reading Edward Snowdens book. An okay read. He’s still living in Russia. His girlfriend ended up moving there and he married her a year or two ago. He belongs to groups that champion “freedom of the press” and “basic human rights” and the irony of course………Both sides of the political rows in Washington DC were calling for him to “face charges” and “be extradited back to the USA to answer questions” and be “locked away” for a “good long time” back in 2013 and 2014.
It was the Obama Administration that cancelled his passport, got all “tough” with Russia about this situation evidently and many in that party that called Snowden a “traitor”
Guess who Snowden hates more than anybody???? Yeah, the current president because he treats the media as worthless and he is creating a “very dangerous situation” for the “freedom” of people in the USA and around the world. Nevermind that his expose of all the ruthlessness our government was (and STILL is) conducting on its fellow citizens has not gone away. It’s only gotten worse. That’s okay now. The president is evil.
It’s suddenly “okay” to want the things the supposed “tradcons” want when you get a little tired, and grow older. It’s okay to call men chumps, betas, rate women only by a number 1-10 system, claim that you are actually helping men when you made many either STD infected, a father they did not perhaps want to be to some perfect ten harpy that is now a 2, or just disgruntled many by the faux display of masculinity that they could never attain…..showing all these things YOU could be, but not showing of course the real human side of things. His road back will have challenges…….and there will be a few men that swallowed what he told them, and a few might be a mite angry at him.
I cannot hate on a man like Roosh now because if he indeed believes he made mistakes, and lives his life differently and does it by example, not just talk…….well, how can one hate that? I certainly got a second chance after cleaning up….but trust did not return by and from people for a very long time. Two have still never forgiven me. I asked for their forgiveness. They refused to give it. It’s on them now. Not me.
I don’t think Roosh will have to make a slavish show here on his new life. What I think will indeed happen is that he will be deemed at “expert” on christianity and immediately thrown into status he probably will not deserve, or maybe he won;t even want. I wish him well.
From what I can tell (and I may be wrong) Roosh isn’t swearing off “game.” He’s just slightly changed his target audience from cads to Christian and Muslim guys. Basically, he’s a Dalrockian “game” guru, now, whereas before he was a Mystery type “game” guru.
He’s peddling the same stuff, only now he’s promising the boys not casual sex but faithful and loving wives to spend a lifetime with. It’s 100% bullshit.
Oh…the “just be confident” game……..plenty of great women out there game………vett women properly game…..and even if you do…and she leaves you. you just didn’t have frame type of game.
