Wisdom For The Players

Solomon, the original playa, is credited with writing the following advice in Proverbs 7. Read it in side-by-side, Hebrew-English, (here). What I’m quoting is the King James Bible, which you can check (here).

Without further delay, let’s see what our symbolic father Solomon has to say about running married hoez…

1. My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

2. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

3. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

As your father loves you, he doesn’t want you to stumble into unnecessary trouble. Trouble will find you anyway. There’s no reason why you should get lured into more of it.

4. Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

5. That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

There are these women who suddenly “appear out of nowhere” to offer up the ass. Of course, to you, she’s a complete stranger. You might think this is some sort of good fortune. Don’t be fooled. You’re her prey, and she’s been stalking you around the club (or the gym, or the workplace) for a good while, now. She’s a stranger to you, but you’re no stranger to her. Even as she’s telling you how fine you look, she’s thinking of what she can get out of you.

6. For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,

7. And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,

8. Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,

9. In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:

There are always dummies in every crowd: suckers, looking to be separated from money and dignity. Our symbolic father, in the text, notices these types, and he feels sorry for them. They’re young. Perhaps they — like ya boy Boxer, and perhaps like you — didn’t have a close relationship with a natural father or elder brother to clue them in to the dangers of the world.

Solomon notes one, wandering around, looking for trouble. Perhaps this dolt was raised, as I was, by a divorcée, a skank-ho mommy, who led him to believe that women were safe, and that it is in the female nature never to lead a young man wrong.

10. And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.

Yup. Our father notes that this sucker is now being propositioned by an attractive but vacuous ho’. She’s been on the make all evening, looking for a simp just like him. Now she’s making her move, all while the poor dummy is imagining himself to have “lucked out.”

11. (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

12. Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)

Solomon knows this ho’. She lives in his neighborhood. Bitch has a husband, but she causes so much trouble that he long ago gave up trying to keep her in line. He’s glad to be away from her, and only too happy to pawn her off on you. Now she’s out, looking for a chump… You’re the lucky winner.

13. So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,

14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.

15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

It’s all very innocent. She doesn’t have a wedding ring on. She looks pretty fine. She starts spouting a lot of nonsense about “true love” and “fate” and new-age “soul mate” jargon. You’re just lapping it all up, right?

16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.

17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

As our brother Deti has already reminded us (here), she’s looking for something. She can call it “love,” but it’s more likely to be an ego boost, a neurotic search for novelty, a bit of validation. She wants to remind herself she’s still “got it,” even if “it” is just the ability to trick a young guy into giving up his dick for the night.

Alas, our young brother isn’t quite as stupid as the old bitch first assumed. Solomon hears him suddenly object:

“You’re married, right?”

She’s quick to answer…

19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:

20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

Oh, Shit! His clever intuition was sadly short lived. She copped to it, but made it seem like a safe romp anyway. Like the idiot he is…

22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;

23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

He thought maybe he was the first young brother to be with this ho’. Not the case. Now he has the AIDS, the Herpes, and the drug-resistant Chlamydia. Oh, did you know that her husband and uncles are involved in an organized crime gang? (I guess she forgot to mention.) If the STDs don’t get you, those evil men will. It might be a good idea to leave town.

24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

No matter how many women you’ve bagged with day game, no matter how well you know the fairer sex, no matter how skilled you might think you are in Heartiste’s “Venusian Arts,” Solomon was ahead of you. If you have any smarts or self-awareness, you’ll take him seriously.

  1. Boxer, I don’t want to dox you or anything, but I need some professional math help. No seriously, I’m working on a new kind of pump and I’m having a hell of time projecting a airfoil shape on a circular path. I can’t seem to adjust my brain in autocad for coordinates but there is got to be a ‘math’ way to do this…or if you can direct me it would be greatly appreciated.

  2. This also works for a woman looking to score a husband, (or as Dalrock says, “stick the landing). This has ME written all over it. An attractive, 32 yr old woman ‘eyes’ a young 27 yr old engineer, and away we go! Amazing it was written out for all of us to see.

Never said she was engaged before, or enjoyed the circular entertainment device, or had daddy issues, or used drugs in the past…

  3. It sounds like a differential geometry problem you’re talking about, perhaps? I’m afraid I can’t help with specifics (I’m a mediocre mathematician – and that particularly applies to “applied” math) but wolfram alpha is always a step away.

You should also feel absolutely welcome to ask around at the engineering department of your local uni or community college, for things like these. Those institutions are paid for by your taxes, and the people down there love to solve problems. My guess is that you’ll find some Ph.D. candidate willing to work through whatever you’re looking at.

    Good luck!

  4. Sir I understand the blog for men. But how can a woman avoid being a skank ho especially if she is about to hit the wall or is post wall and tired of being a virgin?

  5. Exceptions don’t make a rule.

Proverbs does talk about such a woman (i.e. the exception). How do I know this woman was the exception .. because of the volume of AWALT Proverbs vs Exception Proverbs (re: female nature).

    Ms Harris .. YMWV

PS .. The exception today has the nature of the AWALT in her and she has to fight it everyday ..with some the fight is easy and some they sucumb to the AWALT infection .. there is no vaccine or cure that men can ensure the exception.

  6. I’m not a woman and can’t give advice to women. I only know that if you’re wanting to lose your virginity, you should get the best man you can find, and get married to him (or at least get a ring, and a public declaration of a wedding date, etc.) before you bang him.

If you must become a ho’, then do so with the understanding that you’ll be giving the opportunity to marry up. I know lots of hoez who do not rip men off for child support/alimony. They play the game I play, and they get their needs met, shift for themselves, and make their own money and their own way in the world. I get the feeling that is not your first choice.

Dalrock blog has lots of really great articles for women. Do you ever read it? Dalrock is faithfully married to a good lady. Here is one article you might like.

    https://dalrock.wordpress.com/2011/04/26/advice-to-a-single-woman-in-her-30s-looking-to-marry/

  7. Boxer I believe I’ve seen her post there (i.e. Dalrock) before.

That’s why I responded to her.

It seems she is conflicted about posting in either forum due to the posting rules. Or that is the preception I have of her.

  8. I think the most telling thing about Solomon is that he asked God for this:

“So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” 1 Kings 3:9

So he has much more God given wisdom on these things when it comes to women than you or I.

And he still fell into the trap of 700 wives and 300 wimminz who turned him away from God.

That’s always been my thought as to why polygamy isn’t a great idea.

  9. I suppose I’d have to ask a playa this since I’ve had such little experience with an adulterous ho trying to come at me.

Do you think these women have some innate sense of who the easy simp is and who the man with substence who won’t put up with her nonsense are? I remember reading stories about how thieves knew which type of people would be the easy target to rob based on if they had weak body language versus having a confident strideful pose.

  10. How feminine are you, how good of a helpmate are you, and what is your attitude towards men? Also can you cook?

Because if you are high on those things…you should be able to attract someone to marry you. That’s what you got to do.

  11. Short answer .. YES.

Long answer .. awe .. I haven’t been a playa in 10 years. Your radar gets tuned-in just like everyone in any field of study.

An old ex’press’shun is “The body becomes the function.”

A bodybuilder looks like a bodybuilder .. a bicycle racer looks like a cyclist .. a couch potatoe looks like a .. well you get the point. Mind or body .. you become the function.

  12. I suppose the difference in my experiences are…I’ve been mainly the initiator instead of some predator sizing me up to come out of nowhere.

  13. I have had a lot of married wimminz approach me. Others just size me up hoping I’d make a move. You know it when it happens.

I don’t do married wimminz. It’s flat’eer’ing and all .. but its bad enough to be involved with divorced hoes.

  14. Thank you for the advice. I think I will go with option AA. My job had given me a particular distain single mothers so I don’t want to become a part of that group

  15. I’m trying to become more feminine. I do tend to use humor a lot to try to get people to like me which I realize I can’t be with men as I normally come off as a Catholic and bitchy. I just would like that a lot of the child and I figured I might as well make sure that I know whether laughing at me. Also thinking about finding a Christian mail counter. The young woman who were dating the man that I feeling for is very much the perfect woman. She wait on him hand and foot in a loud and and he routinely flirt with other women including me in front of her. Too bad they don’t believe in polygamy. I think the three of us to make a fine couple. Thank you sir for your advice

  16. Dear Renee:

Too bad they don’t believe in polygamy. I think the three of us to make a fine couple. Thank you sir for your advice

I know you’re also a regular over at Artisanal Toad’s blog. I was born a Mormon in Alberta. Many of my cousins live the order (that’s our term for living a polygamist lifestyle).

I don’t think, if you’re a Catholic, you can do this in good conscience. I hope Earl or some other Cat will back me up on this. Do you want to be a polygamist more than being a Catholic? You may be forced to give up your own tradition if you go down that path.

More importantly: I also don’t think that being a polygamist “sister wife” seems like the optimal situation, if you live in the U.S.. It’s illegal here (unlike in Canada and Mexico, they actually enforce bigamy laws in most American states). It’s also a situation where your children will have to share resources with the children of other women.

I think you should do whatever you want to do, but I also think that you should get the best deal in life you can. I don’t see my polygamist relatives as very happy people. They’re overworked, and they don’t live well. I realize Toad seems to paint a pretty appealing picture of the lifestyle, but I think he’s an outlier. Most polygamist unions aren’t as healthy as monogamous ones.

    Best,

    Boxer

  17. Is the humor, sarcasm?

If it is…it’s not a good look for anyone.

Plus flirting doesn’t mean all that much if there’s nothing behind it. Women eat that stuff up because of the attention…but it’s not the same as commitment.

  18. Roman Catholicism doesn’t endorse polyagmy.

‘The predicament of a man who, desiring to convert to the Gospel, is obliged to repudiate one or more wives with whom he has shared years of conjugal life, is understandable. However polygamy is not in accord with the moral law.” [Conjugal] communion is radically contradicted by polygamy; this, in fact, directly negates the plan of God which was revealed from the beginning, because it is contrary to the equal personal dignity of men and women who in matrimony give themselves with a love that is total and therefore unique and exclusive.” The Christian who has previously lived in polygamy has a grave duty in justice to honor the obligations contracted in regard to his former wives and his children.’ (CCC 2387)

  19. Well much like I hope I put out the stink for women on birth control…I hope I put out some stink for those vampire women too.

  20. Sir., I am not a A Catholic . My favorite teacher when I was a little girl was Catholic and I was invited with the rest of my third-grade class to her wedding. That was back in the early 1990s and with The exception of an old church that’s in New York and featured in a lot of movies I haven’t been in a Catholic Church content. I believe That a right relationship with God can only be assumed to Lordship of Jesus Christ.
On Play give me: I believe that it could work if all parties agree to it. My desire to monogamous relationship.

  21. ‘I believe That a right relationship with God can only be assumed to Lordship of Jesus Christ.’

That’s what the Catholic church is all about.

  22. @honeycomb

“It seems she is conflicted about posting in either forum due to the posting rules” end quote

Of course she is conflicted because she probably ran into the same cowardly, ultra heavy handed moderation that the pussified gamma SJW blogger known as Dalrock does to everyone commentating. He’s a gutless coward and Renee is rightly afraid to post her comments over there….No one and I mean NO ONE comes out of moderation over there unless they are part of Dalrock’s cult and agree 100% with him, and even then you are watched like a hawk

It’s funny how my comments in Boxer’s blogs are automatically accepted, because Boxer ain’t a pathetic coward that’s why

@Boxer……..sorry Boxer but the truth has to be told about Dalrock….he might have some interesting articles but at the end of the day he is a gutless cowardly mangina, pretending to be a right wing conservative. Anyone who employs the SAME tactics as the leftist, libtard, feminist SJW’s i.e extreme censorship of anything that disagrees with their views, is ONE OF THEM

  23. You have truly earned my respect Boxer, in my eyes you are a “real” man, a man who is not afraid to allow others to have different views than your own, unlike a certain cowardly blogger who I won’t name.
The ironic thing is, you are wise, friendly and courteous and you bring much wisdom to the manosphere and you say everything that a certain other blogger is saying, yet you’re not a pussy by NOT heavily moderating your blog and yet you don’t get enough views on your channel
I seek to change that by supporting you and spreading your name as far and wide as I can….YOU should be the number 1 blogger for the manosphere, not the gutless coward I won’t name
