Better Call Sol

I’ve seen a number of these stupid protests, including one which blocked streets in the town I live in. What strikes me as odd is how obviously astroturfed it all is.

The “reopen America” protests are funded and promoted by the billionaire class. Wall Street and open-borders globalists want you wage slaves back to work, where you won’t have time to notice the fact that they’re reaping trillions of dollars from the bailouts. CONservatives worship money as their god, and they’re turning out into the streets to agree that your grandmother needs to die for the DOW JONES.

This bitch is case study number one. Even Trumpanzees like Gunner Q are critical of this skank-ho wimminz, who seems to have coordinated her attention whoring with the so-called militia patriot Ammon Bundy.

Bundy, who isn’t even from Idaho, took a gaggle of CONservative white knights to harass the family of the cop who patrolled this useless THOT. If ever I needed evidence that the right-wing was totally co-opted, this would be the latest incontrovertible example.

Self-isolation is not bad at all. Wimminz are largely out of the make-work jobs, tending to their husbands and children. Kids get to learn how to spell and add at their kitchen tables. All the nightclubs and dance halls and bars are shut up tight. Most importantly, people have the time to think about and discuss topics of practical import.

This is clearly intolerable to corporate cuckolds like Ammon Bundy, who is telling his mouthbreathing devotees to break quarantine and get arrested for no reason. Gunner Q even took the time to come over and give his take:

Coronavirus has so far killed 50,000 Americans, and the number rises daily. I have no idea what makes people like Gunner Q feel like we should sacrifice so many thousands of human beings, so that the transnational corporations behind most of the problems in our society can continue to see record profits. Perhaps he will be good enough to explain it to me.

Thankfully, most Americans are not completely retarded, and most of them value people’s lives over corporate rentseekers.

Only tangentially related, but that idiot Augustus Sol Invictus is back in jail after some wimminz judge let him out early due to coronavirus.

Solly is an attorney from central Florida, and he’s probably best known for losing a congressional election, after it came out that he sacrificed animals to the devil. Solly was also a speaker at the “Unite The Right” convention, which (as I correctly predicted, weeks in advance) was a chimp-out of unimaginable proportions.

For those of y’all who don’t know him, look him up. There’s no way for me to do a reasonable sketch of this character in less than 888,000 words. In the interim, you men should enjoy your time off, and don’t listen to the carpetbaggers who are trying to get you into trouble.

  1. Somebody has to make the electricity .. or should I say direct the electrons yenz way ..

So .. no rest days for me.

    ..
    ..

As for the deaths .. I guess I’m a bad man.

Death is part of life. Take precautions .. stay healthy .. avoid dumb situations .. and do what Sweden did ..

Yep .. they took all of their lumps in one episode. No second wave. Herd immunity is a great thing. And they didn’t shut down their economy to do it.

    Folks this ain’t ee-bowl-eye.

Anyway .. what do I know .. I can’t trust anything or anyone anymore .. it used to be just the media and my all government(s).

So .. as an essential worker .. all I knowz is ..

I ain’t rich .. I ain’t poor .. I’m not the smartest or the dumbest .. but it appears everyone has lost their cotton-pickin’ minds over a nothing burger.

Now can an essential worker get their own HOV for the time when everyone else goes back to work .. I love this no traffic stuff!

  2. I am personally prepared for the Crap to keep on going until Christmas. I will be amazed if the calendar year Has not changed-before they re-open the country.

  3. My uncle (who is like Hank Hill from ‘King Of The Hill’ went on and on with me on the phone the other night about our ‘constitutional rights’ and people like ‘Cuomo’ in New York State (where he lives) have ‘no right’ to ‘shut down’ the economy and the state……..

    I listened. I listened. I listened……

Yet, when there is no provision in the US Constitution for ponzi scheme called “Social Security” that I am forced to pay into (my SSA deduction is now almost EQUAL to my federal tax deduction per check now). He complains that “my generation needs to pay more into it”

He claims this virus is no worse than the flu, and its a way for the ‘democrats’ to defeat Trump in 2020. The same Trump that just told people to intake disinfectent or whatever to kill this….yeah, it was a joke or he “really didn’t mean that” is really not helping him………

The same man (my uncle) who demands free healthcare from the VA, demands special deductions on his expenses because he was a veteran, demands his ‘constitutional rights’ to go out and do what he wants when even many real doctors, scientists, and people who actually study viruses still don’t know everything about this Covad-19…..its a conspiracy, its the democrats, its some communist plot…………

But still wants my insipid ass to go to work, pay my taxes…..is upset that I got the $1,200.00 stimulus money “That should be for people who are retired, or who are not working…you’re working, you shouldn’t get it!”

I attribute his unclear thinking because he can’t go out with his equally like-minded veteran friends and talk about how the military was better in 1963 and everything went downhill when Clinton became president…..

These protesters are protesting for the wrong reasons. Instead of protesting before this about the debt, the sad state of partisan politics, our corrupt system, corporate “wealthfare” they just want the system to return to as it was, the same system that really hates them.

  4. Dear Peeps:

As for the deaths .. I guess I.m a bad man.

do what Sweden did .. they took all of their lumps in one episode. No second wave. Herd immunity is a great thing. And they didn.t shut down their economy to do it.

Sweden just broke 2000 deaths, with no end in sight, and the numbers keep on rising.

Brazil is also paying the price, and they’re spreading the virus to their poorer neighbors.

    https://www.democracynow.org/2020/4/24/headlines/brazil_coronavirus_deaths_top_400_in_a_day_perus_hospitals_at_breaking_point

I am personally prepared for the Crap to keep on going until Christmas. I will be amazed if the calendar year Has not changed-before they re-open the country.

I really don’t think it will take that long. You’ll note that Houston and Miami aren’t hotspots, despite tons of infected people going there and spreading it around. That’s because heat and humidity tend to wipe the virus out, and it becomes much less transmissible. As summer approaches, this will likely all be forgotten.

  5. “I have no idea what makes people like Gunner Q feel like we should sacrifice so many thousands of human beings”

Look at the situation again. I’m not sacrificing anybody. THEY are the ones sacrificing ME for THEIR benefit. All I’m doing is wishing I wasn’t being ruined on behalf of total strangers, most of whom were elderly or infirm to begin with.

“Self-isolation is not bad at all.”

No friends, no work, no exercise, no thanks.

  6. Look at the situation again. I.m not sacrificing anybody. THEY are the ones sacrificing ME for THEIR benefit. All I.m doing is wishing I wasn.t being ruined on behalf of total strangers, most of whom were elderly or infirm to begin with.

What I think you are equating is your ability to access all the conveniences you are used to, with other peoples’ lives. If all these old people wanted to kill you and harvest your organs, they would actually have a more sensible argument than you do.

No friends, no work, no exercise, no thanks.

Why don’t you refuse to pay your bills, and demand Daddy Trump bail you out? That seems to work for his friends in the banking and blue chip sectors.

  7. I must ask, do you think I’m an ally of Trump? I’m not. I simply credit him for what he does right while opposing everything from his choice of spiritual advisor to his exporting feminism in this year’s State of the Union address to the two-trillion-dollar bankster bailout he just approved. Now $2.5T, I see in the headlines.

I won’t shed a tear if he loses this election, especially now that he’s trying to buy it with bribes. I won’t cry if he wins, either. There are many factions vying for control of the American government. Some are better than others but none of them care about me.

Thus, if I don’t care about myself then nobody will.

  8. I won.t shed a tear if he loses this election, especially now that he.s trying to buy it with bribes.

All of his billionaire donors and special interests are donating equal amounts to Joe Biden, in order that they might wrap this election up properly.

I wouldn’t think you were a fan, if you didn’t so consistently act like one.

Incidentally, why don’t you write about what a disappointment that loser is? In trade, I’ll write some anti-Biden stuff (not that I could top Glenn Greenwald in that regard).

Thus, if I don.t care about myself then nobody will.

This is the attitude of the typical atomized consumer, which has led the lot of us to this point. Consider thinking about your family and neighbors. They’ll reciprocate if you take this leap.

  9. “Coronavirus has so far killed 50,000 Americans, and the number rises daily. [..] As summer approaches, this will likely all be forgotten.”

Since the total deaths are projected to hit ~70,000, this may end up being the second worst pandemic in forty years after the Flu pandemic of 2018 with killed 80,000. So few of us were alive back then, but those of us who lived through it could hardly forget it.

Perhaps this is why honeycomb waxes eloquent:

“Folks this ain.t ee-bowl-eye. Anyway .. what do I know .. I can.t trust anything or anyone anymore .. it used to be just the media and my all government(s). So .. as an essential worker .. all I knowz is .. I ain.t rich .. I ain.t poor .. I.m not the smartest or the dumbest .. but it appears everyone has lost their cotton-pickin. minds over a nothing burger.”

  10. This isn’t nothing. People are dying. the flu in a bad year may knock down half a million. We have that or will have that already with this worldwide and we’re not even halfway through the year. This isn’t a joke or a conspiracy, or an attempt to “persecute christians”

  11. My company raised my pay by 20% during this crisis calling it “combat pay” because I have to be at work, and I am around people. Distancing of course……..gloves and masks on all day (pain in the butt wearing one all day, removing it. Santizing it, putting it in a proper bag, using another the next day and rotating. I had the County Board of Health instruct me on how to do this, and I am wiping down everything a few times a day in my office and the lobby. I have essential businesses on my property…..the State and County Board of Health, a Fresno County Police Union Office, the County Sheriff Association / HR Dept is here too.

I also have two small medical companies here with their offices on my property that I manage. We are all freaking scared. I am hearing some thing that others do not hear, and it’s put me on some edge.

Yes, I know that I am healthy, no pre-existing conditions…but would not be surprised if I eventually get this.

If it was no big deal…and China doesn’t care about its own people…..why were they willing to sacrifice their economy and even the stability of their one state Party to really use draconian measures to try to lock this down? They knew it was bad…….and yes, of course they are lying about numbers, many more are dead than they have told us……..and we in the West don’t even know the details of this whole thing yet…….

To demand “its just the flu….people die everyday……” behind every death is a person, a husband, a wife, a mother, a friend, a sibling, a co-worker….a grandparent.

This isn’t some sort of grand evil conspiracy by the UN, the Jews, the Democrats, the bankers, or some other nefarious organization.

  12. “This is what the greedy .reopen. fags want.”

    But the children!!!!

Tonight my wife made the same fallacious argument. To ‘prove’ her point, she looked up the CDC statistics. She found that three children have died of COVID-19 in the U.S, making the chance of a child dying less than the chance of almost any other cause of death.

  13. Too many of you are remind me of the same people a few months after 9-11 who stated “Umm…..no jet ever crashed into the Pentagon. It was a bomb. Cheney / Bush / The Jews / The UN / People from Agenda 21 / The Banks / The CIA / The FBI planted it.

Thousands of witnesses seeing a passenger jet crash into the Penatagon “Ummm….no…. Bush / the Jews the banks / et al paid these people to say this.

If it was some HUGE conspiracy with this virus, too many people would have to know and no secret that big would be able to be kept.

  14. “Tonight my wife made the same fallacious argument. To .prove. her point, she looked up the CDC statistics. She found that three children have died of COVID-19 in the U.S, making the chance of a child dying less than the chance of almost any other cause of death.”

Tell that to the parents of this child Derek

  15. Dear Jason:

To demand .its just the flu..people die everyday… behind every death is a person, a husband, a wife, a mother, a friend, a sibling, a co-worker..a grandparent.

They don’t care about other people. They just want to go back to their inflated lifestyles of comfortable consumerism.

This isn.t some sort of grand evil conspiracy by the UN, the Jews, the Democrats, the bankers, or some other nefarious organization.

I’m bombarded by these arguments constantly where I live. Everyone is convinced that it’s a racist conspiracy to deny white people the right to overeat at Burger King and pick up cheap skanks at the local.

(That must be why the government is letting self-described neo-Nazis out of prison early, so that they can immediately go back to terrorizing people.)

  16. “People are dying. the flu in a bad year may knock down half a million. We have that or will have that already with this worldwide and we.re not even halfway through the year.”

Yes, people are dying. Yes, the flu may kill 300,000-600,000 in a year. No, we have not already: current estimates are ~200,000. Nobody knows how high it will go.

“We are all freaking scared. I am hearing some thing that others do not hear, and it.s put me on some edge.”

Most of us have heard these things. For example: this. Yet, current evidence suggests that this will mostly burn itself out by summer. Nobody knows for sure.

  17. “Tell that to the parents of this child Derek”

Who would be so cruel? Just because the appeal to emotion is fallacious doesn’t mean you have to be a jerk about it. At the same time, we are rightfully not swayed by appeals to emotion, not should be abandon reason because somebody feels bad. Those who trot out suffering people as exhibits in lieu of actual reason and argument are the real monsters. You have inverted who the villain is here.

  18. Yes, people are dying. Yes, the flu may kill 300,000-600,000 in a year. No, we have not already: current estimates are ~200,000. Nobody knows how high it will go.

You’re welcome to argue here, but don’t make shit up and pass it off as truth.

It’s not about feelings. It’s about ensuring that there are resources to treat that little guy. He has a hospital bed, thanks to the shutdown you’re endlessly complaining about.

You have a bunch of kids and I’m a bachelor, which means that I have lost far more than you have, and I have no kids to stress over; yet, I’m not endlessly bee-yatching about current events. I find that interesting in itself.

  19. “I.m not endlessly bee-yatching about current events.”

I’m not the one making fallacious arguments and points (like this one).

“don.t make shit up and pass it off as truth.”

Certainly you noticed the obviously sarcastic tone before you flipped out about nothing? Apparently not! Even so, I didn’t make up the 80,000 deaths from the flu in 2018, the CDC did that and the AP reported it. Your links do absolutely nothing to back up the claim that I made things up. Rather than throwing links out there that don’t prove your point, why don’t you stop making silly claims and write a legitimate rebuttal? Not only did you fail to ask why the CDC is contradicting itself, but you cited a CDC source as a retort (LOL!) and failed to apply that observation as a parallel to the COVID-19 statistics. As it stands, I did know about the information you cited which is why I made the comment the way I did. Apparently, I (wrongly) expected a higher level of intellectual discourse.

Your links did highlight one important point though, every statistic that I’ve seen apparently shows that the flu kills the young at much higher rates than COVID-19 (perhaps two orders of magnitude). You didn’t advocate lockdown for any past flu. Should I join your fallacious argumentation and ask you why you hate the children so much? So far you and Jason are the only ones arguing that the deaths of children are relevant to the discussion, so I’d like to see your responses. From this seat, it sure looks like pure hypocrisy.

  20. “Yes, the flu may kill 300,000-600,000 in a year.”

According to the CDC, the 2018 flu killed between 26,339 and 52,664 (95% UI) in the U.S. Given that the U.S. makes up 4.25% of the world’s population, we can extrapolate the worldwide numbers to 600,000 to 1,239,000. Before you call me a liar, consider the contents of the links that you cite.

  21. “current evidence” that this will burn this out by summer.

    The “current evidence”

Lets look at that Derek. First the experts HERE in the USA said “nope, no human to human transfer” Lies or the “evidence” was wrong. We were told that the spread of infection wasn’t really that bad according to the “evidence” and then we were told “face masks? no, not effective at all….nope….the “current evidence” told us this……yet at the same time in January I tried to stock up on more. They were already GONE from most stores……..and if they are ineffective……as the “”current evidence” stated….why do doctors and nurses for some reason “need” and “must have them”?????????????????

Current evidence also told us the death rate was “just like the flu bro” and we are seeing that this evidence was wrong.
Again, science and “current evidence” is abusing the place it worked centuries to attain in society………and it as usual, when the narrative changes or the “current eveidence” changes people like you, many in the media and armchair experts play “1984” and deny ever defending the previous “current evidence” (Oceanana has always been at war with Eurasia……/ 2+2=5) and talking down to anyone who doesn’t swallow the new “current evidence” as fact.

You mentioned in past posts about low IQ, and genetics………I am fully seeing now who indeed abused their trust. It was the folsk with the low IQ who would the counter at the 7-11

  22. Certainly you noticed the obviously sarcastic tone before you flipped out about nothing? Apparently not!

For the past several weeks, Brother Derek has been in violation of the comment policy, to wit: Trolling is encouraged, but your performance art must be entertaining or informative. I didn’t plan to intervene, because I like him personally, and because I assumed that whatever motivated him was likely transient.

Derek has his own blog, and he’s also an author at Sigma Frame. This means that if he loses posting privileges here, he’ll be out nothing. It’s also worth noting that he’s not willfully disrespectful of his other haunts.

Derek describes me as “flipping out” when the opposite is true. Derek isn’t banned or moderated. Jason seems to be enjoying the interaction with him. I don’t have time to feed his ego myself, however, and this will be the point that I bow out.

  23. Current evidence also told us the death rate was .just like the flu bro. and we are seeing that this evidence was wrong.

Even if it were “just the flu, bro” (which is meaningless), it would double the number of people who die every year from influenza, which is already substantial, and (as you pointed out earlier) that’s a milestone we are now past, with no end in sight.

  24. “First the experts HERE in the USA said .nope, no human to human transfer. Lies or the .evidence. was wrong. We were told that the spread of infection wasn.t really that bad according to the .evidence. and then we were told .face masks? no, not effective at all..nope..the .current evidence. told us this..yet at the same time in January I tried to stock up on more. Yes, Jason, I agree with you. That is why I’ve spent so much time discussing lies and fabricated data. It is why I spent so much time discussing a whole system spinning lies. It is why I said (with emphasis) “nobody knows for sure.” I mentioned “current evidence” because their own published data contradicts their claims.
