‘But it does mean that if God has given you a wife and you don.t heed her counsel, you are playing a fool.’
I checked Genesis…God told Adam listening to his wife and being disobedient to God is the reason we have cursed ground and have to toil to eat. I’d think you’d be less of a fool the less you heed her counsel.
The Cuckplain’s money quote is here: “I agree with some of what you.re saying. I just don.t think it.s intelligible to our present culture. To talk of headship in a culture that implicitly holds to a radical egalitarianism and where most men grew up with absent fathers is like speaking a foreign language. Baby steps, brother.”
In other words, ‘I can’t say you’re wrong, but you aren’t allowed to be right because present culture. Let’s not insist on full Christian morality yet.’ A real Christian teacher explains concepts like headship; he doesn’t assume people are too stupid or damaged to comprehend.
Basic Christian morality is simple. Any clergy who talks or acts like it’s an obscure, difficult or context-sensitive topic is a shameless liar. *GQ thumps Bible*

It’s (current year!)…
“The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:4
The guy is ashamed of Scripture. as are all churchians (as opposed to real Christians, who proudly proclaim it).
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
~ Matthew 7:22.-.23 KJV

You Men who want things like the Bible says are so (prior decade)’s
(Usually referring back to a decade with a much lower divorce rate, less school shootings, and with a real life social interactions, Etc.)

I’m beginning to like to intentionally push their shame button! Explaining from scripture that men were created first in the image and glory of God, and that women were created later, for men, a weaker vessel to be men’s helpers, and should be silent in the congregation, with their heads covered, and submitting to their own husbands in all things, is usually enough to get churchians going in full ashamed backpedal. Then laugh at them and walk away as they are compelled to do obeisance and penance to their goddess religion, by distancing themselves from all the Biblical truth you just dropped on their cunt worshipping ears. It is time we blew all the chaff out and found if there is actually any seed left to be sown in these apostate churches.

Yeah we want it back to a time where women were less misrable than they currently are. We are such oppressors.

less miserable
I tried reading Victor Hugo’s book, but ended up just watching the movie.
Even French men had manly character back then. Shit that was a long time ago!
