Good read .. I prefer a compressed air car (re: Electrical Efficiency) for back & forth to work.
But the USof(S)A will never allow that .. something bout crash tests .. hmmmm
PS .. I can’t even keep a straight face regarding those 16 virtues .. good luck is all I can say.
Sigma Frame is rapidly becoming one of my favorite blogs, due to the quadruple-entendre that I find in the articles. The author is a pretty good writer, and it’s hard not to laugh at some unexpected time as you’re reading through.
It was hill’air’ous no doubt.
(All I could keep saying .. whom could find such a woman .. rofl.)
‘All I could keep saying .. whom could find such a woman .. rofl’
Whenever a man asks that question I’m reminded of what Archbishop Fulton Sheen wrote about the Virgin Mary in ‘The World’s First Love’
‘Every man who pursues a maid, every maid who yearns to be courted, every bond of friendship in the universe, seeks a love that is not just her love or his love but something that overflows both her and him that is called “our love.” Everyone is in love with an ideal love, a love that is so far beyond sex that sex is forgotten. We all love something more than we love. When that overflow ceases, love stops. As the poet puts it: “I could not love thee, dear, so much, loved I not honor more.” That ideal love we see beyond all creature-love, to which we instinctively turn when flesh-love fails, is the same ideal that God had in His Heart from all eternity—the Lady whom He calls “Mother.” She is the one whom every man loves when he loves a woman—whether he knows it or not. She is what every woman wants to be when she looks at herself. She is the woman whom every man marries in ideal when he takes a spouse; she is hidden as an ideal in the discontent of every woman with the carnal aggressiveness of man; she is the secret desire every woman has to be honored and fostered; she is the way every woman wants to command respect and love because of the beauty of her goodness of body and soul. And this blueprint love, whom God loved before the world was made, this Dream Woman before women were, is the one of whom every heart can say in its depth of depths: “She is the woman I love!’
Glad you guys are enjoying it. I think nothing is more funny or shocking than the truth. Heh heh…

If Archbishop Fulton Sheen really said what you just said, then I personally would never listen to him ever again….He seems to be projecting his own idolatrous worship and veneration of Mary as being some sort of perfect ideal woman that all men subconsciously are attracted to as the ideal traits they wish to see in women, but that’s simply not true
Mary wasn’t the “perfect” woman, she was a sinner just like every one else
So for me the ideal woman has all those 16 bullet points that Sigma Frame identifies, but I would add 2 more to the list
17: she is totally submissive and compliant with her man….women that are bossy, rebellious, argumentative, and defiant are a major turn off
18: she never says “no” in the bedroom, if you get what I mean
